Vakantie | Holidays

Vakantie is bij Tom en mij gewoonlijk: tentje, slaapzak en bedjes in de auto en we zien wel wat we onderweg tegenkomen. De ene keer is dat een camping, de volgende keer een Bed&Breakfast, dan weer een hotel. Meestal blijven we maar 1 à 2 dagen op dezelfde plek, bekijken de plaatselijke cultuur en rijden weer verder. Altijd interessant, soms heel vermoeiend!

If Tom and I go on a holiday, we usually throw the tent and stuff in the car and wait for the events to come. So sometimes we will camp, than we will be in a Bed&Breakfast and another time we will stay in a hotel. Usually we stay only one or two days at the same place, look at the local culture and drive on. Always interesting, sometimes very tiring!

Weekend

Als je er een weekend helemaal uit bent, telt dat voor een hele vakantie. Het maakt niet eens zoveel uit of het 2 of 3 dagen is.

Going away for the weekend is as good as a whole holiday. It doesn’t even matter that much whether it’s for 2 or 3 days.

Dagtrip | Daytrip

Dagjes weg, bijvoorbeeld met Jenny (zie ook haar foto’s), leveren vaak weer een serie foto’s op.

Daytrips, for instance with Jenny, (have a look at her pictures too), often have a new series as a result.
